What’s New in Nerdcrafteria: October 2020

Hello and welcome to the October Nerdcrafteria Bulletin! Here is where we’ll put all things server excitement, including world changes, events, maintenance, and more. We also have a section specially dedicated to our player events.

Staff Events

Here’s a list of all of our official server events happening this month! If you have any questions on these, feel free to ask in Discord or in game and a staff member will give you more info! We will also be posting announcements for these as the month goes along.

• Survival Season 2 Launch: October 3rd, time TBA
• Creative World Opens: October 10th, 10 a.m. Eastern
• Monthly Maintenance Window: October 14th, 7 a.m. Eastern
• Market Weekend: October 16th-18th
• Optional Monthly Maintenance Window: October 21st, 7 a.m. Eastern
• Nerdcrafteria Halloween: October 24th-31st

Things To Note

We anticipate Survival going down briefly as we put in the new world – please watch for Discord and website announcements on that process!

The Player Town Process will likely go live at some point this month, keep a close eye on our website for all of the details discussed in the Town Hall and more.

Player Events

• Sheep Hockey: Nerdcrafteria’s Pastime: Join the Sheep Hockey League’s October Tournament in collaboration with the Botanical Gardens! Contact Pagophilus or QuestionTues_FTW for info! New players and spectators welcome!
• Botanical Gardens: Grand Opening on October 10th! They will be hosting multiple competitions and events over the course of the month, including tree-top parkour, flower arranging, maze races, hedge art, and a costume contest, with tokens and prizes galore! Message ryEng_UMadBro on Discord with any questions.
• Edgeville: Edgeville building will be available from Oct 3rd until Oct 27th, voting will last from Oct 28th-30th, and prizes will be given either on the 31st or just after reset on Nov 1st. Theme this month is HALLOWEEN!! So show us your best Halloween themed builds. Contact DefiniteMcLovin for more information.
