Hello, and welcome to August’s Newsletter Bulletin, where we’ll put all things server excitement, including world changes, events, maintenance, and more! We also have a section specifically dedicated to player submissions.

From the Nerdcrafteria staff, happy Esther Day. Esther Day is a day where we celebrate the love you have for friends and family, and remember to tell them, no matter how difficult, that you love them.

Caveblock’s build contest is open! You have until August 9 to vote for your favourite mine in Caveblock, at which point the winners will be announced. Make sure you take your photos and get those last challenges done soon as Caveblock (& Survival) seasons will be ending when the downtime begins for our Great Map Reset.
As this map has been host to many great memories and events, we wanted to send it off right. Sometime in August, just prior to the map reset, we’ll be hosting a Map Death Party to celebrate the good times that were had on this map. More information coming soon.
Memory Lane submissions are being accepted to commemorate such a wonderful map. If you have a favourite memory or build from the current map, replicate it on your creative plot (Please keep builds to 15x15x15), and modreq to have it added to Memory Lane! You can visit /warp memorylane for inspiration from current builds! Submissions will be accepted until August 20.
Make sure to reference our Great Map Reset post for all the information you need to know regarding our map reset process. The server will be down for a week starting on August 23 to facilitate everything, so make sure you get all your pictures by then!
Keep August 16 in mind, as that is both the last day that senti chest request modifications will be allowed (Submissions will remain open until the 22nd), and the last day that Beanburg plot owners can specify what they want done with their plots! Beanburg plot owners, expect a message from staff soon regarding your plot.
Player Submissions
Every month, we like to showcase our players, whether that’s through cool builds, joke submissions, or player events. If you have something you’d like to submit to a future edition of the newsletter, please send the details to QuestionTuesdayFTW on Discord!
This month, we asked you what you were hoping or most excited to see in the new map.
Annika’s excited to just get a fresh start and get to feel the sense of accomplishment all over again. It’ll be fun to see what gets done differently and what habits are fell back upon.
The new Minecraft update and being able to make a brand new storage system that includes all the new blocks is something that Elysha is looking forward to.
Finally, we have Maurice, who’s looking forward to more sticcs, and may potentially be branching out to include bamboo in the new map.
